Attainable, delicious home cooking to help us feel good and protect the planet.

What is The Sunday Cooking Club?

I INVITE YOU TO JOIN ME IN MY KITCHEN WHERE WE WILL COOK DELICIOUS FOOD, LEARN NEW TECHNIQUES AND ADOPT CLIMATE-CONSCIOUS HABITS THAT WILL BRING PEOPLE AND THE PLANET BACK TOGETHER.

So many of us, dare I say it, all of us are struggling with cooking for our families at home. These past 3 years have hit our personal health and our wallets hard. On top of all of that, the news about the planet’s health and our rapidly diminishing resources is grim.

While we will continue to see the impact of multiple crises — the pandemic, climate change and the cost of living crisis —  unfold gradually, one thing is clear. Cooking at home and preparing food that is tasty, healthy and planet-friendly is a top priority.

But our routines need a reset.

Welcome to my world! I teach people how to adapt kitchen routines and personal habits to reconnect with food. Through my workshops, TV segments and writing I offer practical, delicious solutions that shrink waste, help people make the most of what’s available and to do it all with simplicity, grace and resilience.

Join me in my kitchen at the Sunday Cooking Club where I will share all the practical and possible ways to simplify cooking at home. Together, we will create great dishes, learn about good-for-us, planet-friendly ingredients and celebrate food that scores low on the carbon-footprint scale and high on flavour. Attainable, delicious food that brings people and planet back together with ease and joy.

Cooking Together

The Sunday Cooking Club is a pre-recorded cooking class that is designed to help you cook for everyday living using delicious, good-for-us ingredients. Together we make climate-friendly choices, simplify the enormous task of cooking and feeding ourselves and our loved ones and finally get dinner on the table!

This workshop is free with registration. The ingredients and prep will be made available beforehand. Once the video goes live you can choose when to cook along with me. My work schedule during the week is unpredictable and so you'll often find me in the kitchen Sunday afternoon, prepping and cooking. You're welcome to follow the video and cook along with me as soon as the video drops (around 3 pm EST) or come back and watch the steps when it's convenient for you.

People who cook with me say...

I absolutely love this hour of cooking. The professional approach and presentation of the teaching is superb. Engaging, fun & excellent for anyone. Every step, ingredient, spice, how to reduce waste, how to use items from your pantry etc. is all explained in great detail.

At the end of the session you leave with not only your master dish, but with more knowledge about making sustainable changes and better food choices. I highly recommend this club.

I am really enjoying the Sunday Cooking Club with Puneeta at Maple and Marigold. She makes it so easy to follow along and make these fantastic foods with minimal effort.

Bonus.. these foods are also mood enhancers. The whole class is a mood enhancer. I was afraid of cooking with sweet potatoes and voila.. the cook along helped me get over my irrational fears and I created something delicious.

The Sunday Cooking Club with Puneeta was such a joy to attend. It felt amazing to prep some healthy and delicious food for the week and to use flavours and ingredients that are out of my usual rotation.

Puneeta is a wealth of information and an absolute joy. I love her approach to making cooking easy but still yummy!

I just adored your Sunday cooking class. You have a real talent for keeping things interesting in the kitchen! The daal came out delicious and I am so pleased with my leftovers for dinner this evening.

I felt energized by the grounding exercise at the start of the class and extremely proud of myself for the meal I created with what I had in my kitchen!
